Today's episode of The First Night with the Duke promises an escalation in intensity, as Cha Sun-chaek continues to upset the scenario of the novel into which she has been thrust. Hailing from a very real world, this ordinary student finds herself trapped in the skin of a secondary character in a historical romance... and nothing goes according to plan.

After spending her first night, by accident, with the main hero, the charismatic and intense Yi Beon (played by Taecyeon), Cha Sun-chaek (interpreted by Seohyun) becomes the object of all his attention. Obsessed by her, he is now pushing her to consider marriage. This unbearable pressure drives the young woman to flee in the middle of the night. But her escapade takes an unexpected turn: she finds refuge in the reassuring arms of the gentle Jung Soo-gyeom.
One night, two men... and a wavering heart
In a scene full of romantic tension, Cha Sun-chaek finds herself nesting against Jung Soo-gyeomunder the peaceful light of the moon. The latter, already charmed by her on their first meeting in a tea room, holds her tenderly, his eyes riveted on her face. His gentleness and calm are in stark contrast to Yi Beon's fiery passion. And Cha Sun-chaek, in spite of herself, seems troubled by this unexpected closeness.
This rapprochement upsets the narrative balance: Will Jung Soo-gyeom, until now a supporting character, become the heroine's new love interest? One thing's for sure: their chemistry leaves no one indifferent.
Yi Beon takes on Jo Eun Ae: a high-voltage encounter
Meanwhile, Yi Beon finally crosses paths with Jo Eun-aethe novel's original heroine. But instead of a glittering romance, the scene shifts to a confrontation. Under the lanterns, Yi Beon draws his sword, leaving Jo Eun-ae stunned.
An unexpected reaction that raises many questions: what did he perceive in her? And above all, what happens to the original story if the main hero refuses his destiny?
