Actor Song Joong-ki hasn't kept his fans waiting long. According to a report published on December 8 by OSEN, the star is currently finalizing his next project: a new drama tentatively entitled " Love Cloud "for which he is currently studying the script with a very positive outlook.
This romantic drama is set on Jeju Island, in an atmosphere where emotions mingle with the climate. The story tells of the unexpected reunion between Kang Woo-ju, former flight instructor turned air traffic controller, and Ahn Ha-nui, once a student pilot. Seven years after losing touch with each other, they meet again in the sky and on the ground, now as controller and pilot.
The director would be Song Min-yeop, known for Youth of May and High Cookiewhile the script was written by the team of new authors Mad Rabbit.
A new challenge for Song Joong-ki in a new role
Song Joong-ki would play the male lead, Kang Woo-ju, an air traffic controller with a training background. The role would mark a new transformation for him, as he ventures into a professional world unseen before in his filmography.
As for the heroine, an actress who has been very active in drama and film in recent years is said to have received an offer. The main cast is currently being finalized, so we can expect an official announcement soon.
