Romance fans have a lot to look forward to: Song Joong-ki and Chun Woo-hee star in JTBC's next drama, My Youth, the teaser for which has just been unveiled. And it has to be said: the first images herald a moving return to memories of first love.

Scheduled for broadcast from September 5, My Youth will tell the story of Sunwoo Hae (played by Song Joong-ki), a man who begins to live a "normal" life much later than the others, and of Sung Je-yeon (played by Chun Woo-hee), who has no choice but to disrupt the newfound tranquility of her childhood sweetheart to further her own career.
In the teaser, the mood is soft and nostalgic. The 2 characters reunite after years of silence, and emotions surface without warning. For Sunwoo Hae, Je Yeon was her light at the age of 19. And you can feel it in his eyes when he says her name: a mixture of surprise, tenderness and pain.
For his part, Je Yeon confides: "It would be a lie to say I never thought about you. Seeing you again immediately took me back to those days." She also expresses the same wish as before: to see Sunwoo's wounds heal, as if time had erased nothing.
One thing's for sure: despite the years, the intensity of first love remains intact.
The drama will air every Friday on JTBC with 2 consecutive episodes each weekand will also be available on Viki for international audiences.
