JTBC continues to promote My Youth and has just unveiled the first images of its new Friday drama. It stars Song Joon-ki as Sunwoo Hae, a former child star turned florist.

The return of a childhood sweetheart

In this romance, Sunwoo Hae begins to live an "ordinary" life later than most. Once famous, he burned through the best years of his youth too quickly and still bears the scars of that dark period. The present day, he finds peace in a simple daily routine We'll be strolling through flower markets at dawn, tending to our plants during the day and savoring little moments of happiness away from the spotlight.

But this tranquility is disrupted by the unexpected return of Sung Je-yeon (Chun Woo-hee)his first love when he was 19. Her reappearance awakens memories, wounds... and feelings he thought were buried. Especially as Sunwoo Hae hides another secret: he's also a writer, but prefers to conceal his identity.

Directed by Lee Sang-yeob (Yumi's Cells, Familiar Wife) and written by Park Si-hyun (Run On), My Youth promises a sweet, emotional romance, supported by sensitive direction. Song Joong-ki confides that he was immediately moved by the script:

The drama will air from September 5 at 8:50 p.m. KST on JTBC, with two consecutive episodes every Friday. It will be available for streaming on Coupang Play in Korea, Viu for Asia, the Middle East and Africa, and Rakuten Viki in the rest of the world.
