Song Ji-hyo soon back in a K-drama alongside Park Min-young?

After 3 years away from K-dramas, Song Ji-hyo could make a comeback with a surprise role in Confidence Queen. According to several Korean media outlets, the actress is in talks for a special appearance in this new series directed by Park Min-young.

Based on the Japanese drama The Confidence Man JPConfidence Queen tells the story of a trio of daring con artists who take on society's worst scoundrels, from mafia dons to corrupt conglomerates. Park Min-young will co-star with Joo Jong-hyuk, Park Hee-soon and Hyun Bong-sik. The project is supported by the director Nam Ki-hoon (Big Bet, Destined with You) and screenwriter Hong Seung-hyun (Criminal Minds).

For Song Ji-hyo, it would be a comeback eagerly awaited by her fans, after her last notable appearance in Sh**ting Stars in 2022 and his last leading role in The Witch's Diner in 2021. Very popular, the actress remains discreet about this rumour for the time being, while continuing to host Running Manthe famous South Korean variety show.

Scheduled for September 2025, Confidence Queen will be broadcast exclusively on Prime Video and will feature 12 episodes. Stay tuned!
