According to several sources, Son Na-eun is currently in talks to join So Ji-sub in the drama. Manager Kima highly anticipated project inspired by a successful webtoon. The actress's agency, J,WIDE COMPANY, confirmed that her participation was not yet official, but that it was "positively considering the proposal".
An action thriller at the heart of the working world
Manager Kim will tell the story of a seemingly ordinary employee, played by So Ji-sub, who hides a dark secret: he is in fact a former North Korean special agent. His life is turned upside down the day his beloved daughter is kidnapped, forcing him to return to a past he had tried to forget.
Son Na-eun has reportedly been approached to play Sang-aha key employee working in the same company as Manager Kim, a central role that should play a decisive part in the story.
Scheduled for broadcast next year on SBS, Manager Kim promises to be an explosive mix of action, tension and human drama, led by a duo with great potential: So Ji-sub and, perhaps soon, Son Na-eun.
