The new SBS drama « Sold Out on You »is getting ready to hit the screens. The channel has confirmed the air date for this romantic comedy and unveiled a sneak preview of the first script reading featuring the main cast.
The series tells the story of Matthew Lee, played by Ahn Hyo-seop, a perfectionist farmer who works at several different jobs. Nicknamed «Mechoori» (a play on words based on the Korean pronunciation of his name), he leads a busy life between his various activities.
Opposite him, Chae Won-bin plays Dam Ye-jin, a famous home-shopping show host who suffers from severe insomnia.

An energetic first script reading
When reading the script, the director Ahn Jong-yeon set the tone by declaring:
" I'm going to make sure it's a fun and happy set. "
Ahn Hyo-seop immediately captured attention as Matthew Lee, a character who is cold on the outside but warm on the inside. The actor even added sound effects as he mimed driving a tractor or working on the farm, bringing a dynamic energy to the session.

For her part, Chae Won-bin lit up the room with her character's lively energy. In a scene where her character is trying to convince someone to achieve her goal, she showed all the confidence and charisma of Dam Ye-jin through her voice and expressive gestures.

Promising chemistry between the actors
The reading particularly highlighted the teasing chemistry between Ahn Hyo-seop and Chae Won-bin. Their exchange of lines has already given us a glimpse of a fun and dynamic romance.
The cast also includes Kim Bumwho performs Seo Eric, an executive director in a cosmetics company. The actor impressed with the gentleness and sensitivity he brought to his character.

Finally, veteran actress Go Doo-shim charmed the team with his regional accent and warm smile as an influential member of the Songhak family, considered an important figure in the village of Deokpoong.

The drama «Sold Out on You» will be broadcast from April 22 at 9pm (KST) on SBS and available on Netflix.
