The romantic drama " Shining » continues to unveil its emotions ahead of its March 6 broadcast on JTBC. The new images and latest trailer highlight not only the relationship between Park Jinyoung and Kim Min-ju, but also another love interest from her past, played by Park Se-hyun.
The series tells the story of young people who shared a world of their own before becoming, over time, the guiding light in each other's lives.
A relationship marked by separation
The trailer follows Yeon Tae-seo (Park Jinyoung) and Mo Eun-ah (Kim Min-ju) since they turned 19. Tae-seo leads a difficult life while caring for her sick younger brother, while Eun-ah, smiling and sincere, stays by his side. Their obvious complicity augurs a sweet romance... until they separate.
Years later, their reunion is emotionally charged. Eun-ah clings to him, while Tae-seo, overwhelmed, bursts into tears. When they come face to face, hand in hand, a new chance seems possible. Tae-seo confides: «If I wasn't so sure, I wouldn't have even started,» leaving open the question of a future they could finally build together.
The weight of a first love
But Tae-seo's past doesn't end there. Im Ah-sol (Park Se-hyun), now a straightforward tax accountant, finds him as an adult and realizes that he was her first love. Back in high school, she silently admired him after catching a glimpse of him in a study hall.
Park Se-hyun explains that for his character, Tae-seo is «someone whose mere existence has meaning». When the memory becomes reality, their feelings evolve and their relationship changes in nature.
The first 2 episodes will be broadcast on March 6 at 8:50 pm (Korean time) on jTBC (pending OTT).
