A long-awaited new duo could be coming to the small screen. Shin Ye-eun is currently in talks to join Park Bo-gum in the drama “Night Traveler”(working title).
On April 2, several media outlets reported that the actress had received an offer to play the female lead. Her agency npio Entertainment confirmed the information, saying, “This is one of the projects for which she has received an offer and is currently considering.”
The project is already attracting attention, supported by a promising cast and an acclaimed creative team.

Romantic drama from a successful screenwriter
“Night Traveler” is a romantic drama by Yoon Ji-ryeon, the screenwriter behind such hits as “Boys Over Flowers”, “Angel Eyes” and “Move to Heaven”.
Set between 1937 and the present day, the story follows 2 characters inexplicably linked through time. On one side, an upright lawyer living in the past. On the other, a brilliant forensic investigator in the present.
The 2 are connected by the same apartment, which becomes the point of passage for nocturnal encounters as brief as they are mysterious. In the course of these timeless exchanges, they begin to discover secrets that link their lives despite the decades that separate them, creating a link between past and present that is as discreet as it is inevitable.
Park Bo-gum's name had already been mooted for the male lead. If both actors confirm their participation, the drama could quickly become one of the most eagerly awaited projects.
Shin Ye-eun on the rise
Shin Ye-eun continues her rise to prominence with increasingly high-profile projects. She has won particular acclaim for her performances in “The Glory” and “Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born”.
The actress is also due to appear in the drama “Doctor Someboy”where she plays a nurse alongside Lee Jae-wook.
With “Night Traveler”, she could take on one romance role after another and reach a new stage in her career, this time alongside Park Bo-gum.
