Netflix makes official a long-awaited new romantic project: « Love O'Clock« a sentimental comedy starring Shin Hae-sun and Na In-woo. The two actors, already reunited in Mr. Queen, This time around, they find themselves in a modern romance... with a surprising concept, to say the least.
Announced on February 11, the drama promises renewed chemistry between the 2 stars, surrounded by Yoon Kyun-sang and Lee Joo-woo.
A daily exchange of souls... for an hour
Adapted from the popular webtoon An Hour of Romance, Love O'Clock follows Cha Ju-an (Shin Hae-sun), a variety show producer as dynamic as she is obsessed with her work. Determined and driven, she often puts her own happiness aside to achieve her professional goals.
Her life is turned upside down when she meets Yu Do-jin, a rising star in professional tennis. Extremely organized, rigorous and methodical, Do-jin controls every aspect of her life. But without warning, the two begin to exchange souls... one hour a day, at exactly the same time.
This unexpected phenomenon forces them to literally live in each other's shoes, discovering each other's flaws, secrets and vulnerabilities. Between absurd situations, misunderstandings and moments of sincere understanding, the series promises as many laughs as it does heartbeats.
A two-couple romance and a solid team
Na In-woo plays Yu Do-jin, a seemingly cold and disciplined sportsman, but who hides an unexpected sensitivity. Forced to endure Ju-an's «chaotic hour» every day, his perfectly organized daily routine is shattered.
Around the main duo gravitate 2 secondary characters who bring a second romantic line. Yoon Kyun-sang plays Ko Tae-hoon, director at Yu Do-jin's agency and a loyal, protective but reserved friend.
Lee Joo-woo plays Choi Mi-hyang, a TV scriptwriter and Ju-an's roommate, pragmatic and disillusioned in love... until an unexpected encounter.
The production is entrusted to Kim Sang-hyupknown for True Beauty and Extraordinary You, while the screenplay is by the writers of A Business Proposal. Suffice to say, the combination promises a fast-paced, light-hearted but emotionally sincere rom-com.
Love O'Clock will be broadcast shortly on Netflix.
