The drama “Filing for Love”continues to unveil its universe with new images and a teaser that showcase the chaotic yet captivating dynamic between Shin Hae-sun and Gong Myoung.
This romantic comedy follows Noh Ki-joon, a brilliant auditor in a large company, whose career is turned upside down when he is suddenly demoted to a team in charge of dealing with internal faults. He finds himself under the orders of Joo In-ah, a team leader as demanding as she is enigmatic.
An explosive relationship between opposites
A feared perfectionist, Joo In-ah is known for her exacting standards and rigor, which has enabled her to become the youngest female manager in her company. On the other hand, Noh Ki-joon, once considered a key element in his department, finds his daily life completely turned upside down.
From the moment they meet, the tension is palpable. Noh Ki-joon, humiliated by his demotion, vows to bring Joo In-ah down. But as they work together, his determination wavers in the face of an unexpected attraction.
Shin Hae-sun describes their relationship with the words “loving” and “variable”, explaining, “Joo In-ah and Noh Ki-joon have totally opposite personalities. When the unpredictable Noh Ki-joon enters Joo In-ah's very structured life, all his plans start to fall apart.”
For his part, Gong Myoung refers to an “alchemy between opposites”, stressing that their differences are precisely what brings them together.
Absurd investigations and a budding partnership
In particular, the teaser shows Joo In-ah announcing, “In Team 3, Deputy Noh will be in charge of PM affairs,” referring to inappropriate behavior in the workplace.
Before long, the 2 characters have to work together in the field. Joo In-ah asserts with determination: “We must catch them”, while she says to Noh Ki-joon: “Let's spend some meaningful time together”, provoking a mixture of awkwardness and tension.
Between clumsy undercover missions and unexpected situations, their duet gradually evolves into a more sincere complicity. The 2 actors also praised their filming experience. Shin Hae-sun confides: “Gong Myoung is a very straightforward and committed person. Thanks to him, I felt at ease on the set and we were able to create excellent chemistry.”
Gong Myoung adds: “She treated me very well on the set, and our chemistry was really excellent. I was surprised by the way she embodied her character, and when we played looking into each other's eyes, my heart was pounding.”
“Filing for Love” will air from April 25 at 9:10pm (Korean time) and will be available on Viki.
