JTBC continues to unveil plans for its next drama Love Me by sharing a sneak preview of the very first script reading. Adapted from the Swedish series by Josephine Bornebusch, the drama explores an imperfect but deeply human family, where each person begins his or her own quest for love and reconstruction.

Gathered in a room full of energy, director Jo Young-min, screenwriters Park Eun-young and Park Hee-gwon, and the entire cast, including Seo Hyun-jin, Yoo Jae-myung, Lee Si-woo, Yoon Se-ah and Dahyun, brought the first pages to life with an intensity that was already palpable.

An ordinary family with touching flaws

Seo Hyun-jin plays Seo Joon-kyung, a brilliant obstetrician whose solitude has become a daily burden. Her way of distilling silent vulnerability behind a poised voice and controlled vocabulary immediately created an atmosphere full of restraint and depth.

At his side, Yoo Jae-myung plays Seo Jin-ho, a father marked by old guilt, which he tries to camouflage behind a benevolent smile. A few glances, a hesitant breath, and the actor was able to plunge the entire audience into emotion.

Lee Si-woo completes this family trio as Seo Joon-seo, the little brother, who is both touching and awkward. Between his need for recognition and his fear of moving on, his character is one of the drama's emotional driving forces.

Encounters that will transform their lives

Around this family, other protagonists bring a breath of fresh air. Yoon Se-ah, as a bubbly tour guide, finds Yoo Jae-myung after their thwarted relationship in "Stranger", instantly recreating a warm tension between the two.

Chang Ryul, plays neighbor Joo Do-hyun, a music director who immediately perceives the wounds that Joon Kyung is trying to hide. His calm presence and deep voice add a delicate romantic dimension to the story.

TWICE's Dahyun plays Ji Hye-on, a loyal presence and emotional landmark in Joon Seo's life. As for the secondary cast - Jang Hye-jin, Kim Shana, Lee Ji-hye, Oh Dong-min, Park Sung-yeon, Jung Seung-gil - they further strengthen the project's solidity with performances expected to be rich and nuanced.
