JTBC continues to build anticipation for " Love Me" his next drama based on the Swedish series of the same name. At the heart of the story: an inward-looking, yet strangely familiar family, each member of which embarks on a personal journey towards love and reconstruction. And today, the duo Seo Hyun-jin / Chang Ryul reveals itself through their first images together.
Two neighbors with invisible wounds
Seo Hyun-jin plays Seo Joon-kyung, a well-known gynecologist who leads a seemingly stable life. However, since her mother's accident seven years ago, she has turned in on herself, convinced that solitude is the simplest solution. Beginning to love again seems almost impossible.

At his side, Chang Ryul lends his features to Joo Do-hyun, a musical director whose natural politeness and sense of humor put everyone at ease. Paradoxically, his own love life seems to have been put on hold, as if the subject didn't exist for him.

One day, in Do-hyun's quiet routine, a brief encounter with her neighbor Joon-kyung leaves an unexpected warmth. Gradually, the two begin to notice each other, not through what they show, but through what they lack.
A simple first date... but terribly sincere
The new images reveal their very first date. No soft lighting, no pretty café: just a restaurant serving grilled eels, an unexpected choice that makes the scene even more authentic. Joon-kyung looks tense, almost frozen, while Do-hyun flashes a gentle, tranquil smile. There's nothing ideal about the moment, but it has all the hallmarks of a real encounter: awkward, a little uncomfortable, fueled by the beginnings of an attraction that's hard to explain.
The production describes this moment as follows: "Joon-kyung and Do-hyun move at different paces, which makes their mutual curiosity even stronger. It's not a perfectly organized date, but a scene filled with awkwardness, discomfort and excitement." The team adds that these offbeat emotions will enrich the depth of the drama.
Love Me will be broadcast from December 19, 8:50pm (KST) on JTBC. Waiting for an OTT.
