As the release of Taxi Driver 3 approaches, Pyo Ye-jin opened up about her return to the role of Go Eunthe brilliant hacker of the Rainbow Taxi team. The series, starring Lee Je-hoonfollows a group of vigilantes who offer vengeance and comfort to victims abandoned by the law.
A long-awaited return for the Rainbow Taxi team
The actress expressed her gratitude for the public's enthusiasm: "Since the end of season 2, a lot of people have already been asking for the sequel. Thanks to them, I feel all the love and support for Taxi Driver. In an age when there's so much different content, I'm grateful that our series can continue with so much interest."
Delighted to be reunited with her acting partners, Pyo Ye-jin added: "I have no worries, because I have confidence in our director, our scriptwriter and our team. In this new season, Go Eun is even more reliable: she anticipates, prepares everything in advance and acts without needing to be asked. Viewers will also discover her action scenes, which I hope they'll look forward to."
Between complicity and new action scenes
The actress spoke of the cast's strong chemistry: "When we shoot the scenes in the underground meeting room, there's a real natural complicity between us. Even without rehearsals, our timing is perfect. It's a real pleasure."
Concerning the relationship between Do Gi (Lee Je-hoon) and Go EunTheir bond remains precious. Do Gi is still the most reliable person for her, and you'll still see their beautiful complicity."
Finally, Pyo Ye-jin promises a more spectacular season: "The production scale has grown again, the stories are richer and the automotive action scenes more impressive than ever. Everyone is giving their best to offer fans thrilling Fridays and Saturdays."
Cab Driver 3 will be released from November 21 on SBS, Viki and Viu.
