Channel A unveils a new poster for its upcoming drama « Positively Yours», an adaptation of a hit webtoon combining romantic comedy, thwarted destiny, and promises that are never really kept. The story begins with a one-night stand between two adults who had sworn never to marry, and who suddenly see their certainties turned upside down.
A chaebol who had sworn to live without love
Choi Jin-hyuk plays Kang Doo-joon, a second-generation heir who, on the surface, already has everything: a solid position, an influential family, and a career that is all mapped out. After the disappearance of his older brother, he devotes all his energy to protecting what he has left, convinced that he has «no reason to consider marriage in this life.».
But this resolution is shattered when an unexpected night with Jang Hee-won turns what he thought was immutable upside down.
A brilliant woman at work, but allergic to the idea of marriage
Oh Yeon-seo plays Jang Hee-won, an exemplary professional who always achieves the best results at work... but scores «zero points in love.» Marked by her parents' divorce and her mother's hurtful words, she has chosen a peaceful life on her own, far from any prospect of marriage. However, an unexpected event throws her perfectly controlled daily life into turmoil.
The new poster places the two protagonists in a romantic setting: Kang Doo-joon in a three-piece suit, charismatic and confident, facing Jang Hee-won, radiant in a bright pink dress. White feathers float around them, while a bed in the background symbolizes their famous night that started it all.
The slogan accompanying the image, «One-night stand romance», piques curiosity about how their relationship will evolve and what steps will actually lead them to fall in love.
Positively Yours will be broadcast from January 17 at 10:30 p.m. (KST) on Channel A (awaiting an OTT)
