It is a drama with a unique setting: contemporary Korea reimagined as a constitutional monarchy, where the rules of status and power still dictate individual destinies. IU plays Sung Hee-jooHeiress to an economic empire, brilliant, beautiful and ambitious, but paradoxically treated like an ordinary citizen. On her side, Byeon Woo-seok interprets Grand Prince Yi Wan, son of the king, but deprived of any real power. Two figures seemingly at odds with each other, yet united by the same invisible wounds.
When Hee-joo and Yi-wan meet, their opposing worlds collide. Both have cracks that no one else sees, and this meeting becomes the tipping point that allows them to finally face up to who they really are.
