KBS2 has unveiled the very first teaser for « Cabbage Your Life« a comedy-drama that promises a cultural clash between town and country. At the heart of the story is Sung Tae-hoon, the head of a city family who is suddenly transferred to the rural village of Yeonriri.
Accustomed to life as a corporate manager, Sung Tae-hoon finds his daily routine turned upside down by an unexpected transfer. He and his family have to leave Seoul to try and adapt to a totally different environment, all the while dreaming of returning home.
“Why am I here?”
The teaser opens with a close-up of black shoes trudging across a field. The man is none other than Sung Tae-hoon. Arriving in the middle of a field, black bags in hand, he exclaims, distraught: «Why am I here?»
The scene immediately highlights the contrast between his city look and the rural setting.
A radical change of image
Breaking the 4th wall, Park Sung-woong humorously comments, «I signed the contract because they told me it would change my image [as an actor], but this is the first time I've buried cabbages instead of people.»
As he places his bags on the ground, he contemplates the vast field before him, symbolically marking his first step into this new life.
The series will air on March 26 at 9:50pm (KST) on KBS2 (awaiting OTT).
