JTBC has unveiled new images of « The Practical Guide to Love« highlighting Park Sung-hoon in a role that runs counter to the usual romantic archetypes. The drama looks at love not as a thoughtless impulse, but as a carefully considered choice, rooted in stability and sincerity.

A man built by hard work and a sense of duty
Park Sung-hoon performs Song Tae-seob, director of the HOME woodworking studio. Behind his gentle, composed appearance lies a man of principle, guided by a strong sense of responsibility. Having devoted his entire twenties to consolidating his company, Tae-seob entered his thirties with a life almost entirely focused on work, leaving little room for sentiment.

A rigorous and attentive business leader, he naturally inspires confidence. The recently unveiled images underline this reassuring aura: a calm gaze, a discreet smile, and a presence that puts even those he meets for the first time at ease. A KakaoTalk exchange visible in one of the visuals describes him as «warm, reliable, very responsible, and sincere in love once his feelings are engaged».

When logic gives way to sentiment
The unexpected encounter with Lee Ui-youngembodied by Han Ji-min, Tae-seob's carefully constructed equilibrium is upset. Touched from their first arranged meeting, he discovers a new side of himself: that of a man ready to invest himself fully, with the same determination he has always put into his work.

The drama focuses on how stable, caring love can become a support and even a driving force for personal transformation. The relationship between Ui-young and Tae-seob raises a central question: what happens when a man used to controlling everything finally decides to follow his heart?
With The Practical Guide to Love, JTBC offers a gentle, realistic romance focused on emotional maturity and building lasting love.
The drama will be broadcast from February 28 at 10:40pm (KST), waiting for an OTT.
