JTBC has unveiled the first images of Park Seo-joon in Waiting for Kyeongdoa nostalgic, humorous romantic drama about lost love and second chances.

An unexpected reunion between two former lovers
The series tells the story of Lee Kyeong-do (played by Park Seo-joon) and Seo Ji-woo (Won Ji-an), two lovers who met at 20, met again at 28... and then parted again. Years later, fate unexpectedly reunites them: Kyeong-do is now a journalist covering an adultery scandal, while Ji-woo is the wife of the man at the center of the affair.
Between humor, regret and suppressed emotions, their relationship is reborn in a very different context, revealing the wounds of the past and the fatigue of an adult life marked by routine.

A disillusioned character, between tenderness and melancholy
In the new images, Park Seo-joon embodies a Lee Kyeong-do tired, empty-eyed after a long day's work. His tie slightly loosened and his phone in his hand reflect his modern habit of never picking up the phone, even after office hours.
Another photo shows him alone in a restaurant, a bottle of soju in hand. Behind his detached air, we can make out a mixture of regret and disillusionment, as if he's carrying the weight of a past he's never really been able to forget.
These shots hint at a profound change in the character's life, shaking the apparent calm of a man worn down by time and compromise.
Waiting for Kyeongdo is scheduled for the second half of 2025 on JTBC (For our part, we've heard December 2025 and Prime Video as an international broadcaster for certain countries). With its mix of romance, bittersweet humor and lucid look at adulthood, this new series promises to be a real treat. Park Seo-joon more introspective and touching than ever.
