JTBC's next romantic drama, Surely Tomorrowis already making waves. The channel has unveiled a video and photos of the script reading, featuring a prestigious cast and an emotional atmosphere.

This romantic comedy stars Park Seo-joon as Lee Gyeong-do, a passionate journalist working in the culture department of the Dongun Ilbo daily newspaper. His character seems ordinary, but hides a deep and sincere attachment. Opposite him, Won Ji-an plays Seo Ji-woo, a vivacious and unpredictable woman. The 2 characters had fallen in love at 20 and found each other again at 28... before going their separate ways again. Years later, fate brings them together in circumstances that are, to say the least, delicate: Gyeong-do is investigating a scandal, while Ji-woo is now the wife of the man at the heart of the affair.
The cast reveals itself on reading the script
During the reading, Park Seo-joon and Won Ji-an immediately captivated the audience with their natural chemistry. With their knowing glances and gentle retorts, they expressed all the complexity of a past love that is resurfacing.

Joining them is Lee El, in the role of Seo Ji-yeon, Ji Woo's older sister and CEO of Jarim Apparel, impressed with her balanced interpretation of authority and benevolence. The rest of the cast, consisting of Lee Joo-young (seen in Genie, make a wish), Kang Ki-doong, Kim Min-kyung, Nam Gi-ae and Jo Min-guk, brought a great energy to their dynamic exchanges, forming a real team united around the main duo.
The script reading took place in a warm atmosphere, where each actor seemed already perfectly inhabited by his role. With such a talented cast and a plot combining romance, destiny and secrets, Surely Tomorrow promises to be one of the most eagerly awaited dramas of the second half of 2025 (announced for December 2025, on Prime Video).
The full video of this first reading is already available, giving a promising foretaste of this nostalgic and emotional story. Discover the translation here:
