Park Jeong-min could soon be bringing to the screen one of the most popular web novels of recent years. According to a Korean media report, the actor has been chosen to star in the drama tentatively titled "A Man's Man", an adaptation of a webtoon itself based on a novel that has racked up over 470 million views worldwide.

The actor's agency, SEM Company, confirmed the news, but said nothing had been signed yet: "He has received a proposal for the drama A Man's Man. The project is currently under review." A statement which suggests that discussions are progressing, but that the final decision has not yet been made.

A story of second chances, regrets and destiny

A Man's Man follows Han Yu-hyeon, a man who reaches the position of CEO before losing everything: love, career, stability. As his life falls apart, he is given the unexpected opportunity to return to his past and start afresh, a second chance that opens the way to a quest for redemption, personal growth and decisive choices.

Park Jeong-min has reportedly been approached to play this complex protagonist, torn between regret and ambition, forced to relive his youth with the mistakes of an older man. An intense, emotional and demanding role that fits well with the actor's image, often hailed for his depth of acting.
