Actor Park Hae-jin could soon join the cast of season 2 of " Good Partner" currently in preparation for SBS. On December 2, several South Korean media outlets reported that the actor was among the new leads being considered for this new salvo of episodes.
Park Hae-jin's agency, Artist Company, confirmed the information, stating, "Park Hae-jin has received the proposal and is currently discussing it."
For the time being, nothing has been finalized, but discussions seem to be sufficiently advanced to fuel fans' enthusiasm.
A largely renewed cast
Season 2 promises to be a real turning point for the series. Two important figures from the first season, Nam Ji-hyun and Kim Jun-han, will not be making a comeback. However, two series stalwarts have confirmed their presence: Jang Nara and P.O. will reprise their respective roles.
Another name that is circulating strongly: Kim Hye-yoon is also said to have received an offer to join the cast.
A series still focused on divorce lawyers
Season 2 will continue to follow the hectic daily lives of divorce lawyers. The plot remains centered on Cha Eun-kyung, a seasoned lawyer working at the Daejung law firm, confronted with cases where emotions, family conflicts and legal strategies intertwine.
This new chapter will once again be directed by Kim Ga-ram and written by Choi Yoo-na, the creative duo already at work on the first season.
The production plans to be broadcast exclusively on SBS, with a premiere scheduled for the second half of 2026.
A strategic return for Park Hae-jin
If participation is confirmed, Good Partner 2 could mark his second major return to Korean screens. Park Hae-jin is also tipped to lead the upcoming series Endfeel, another highly-anticipated project.
His last drama dates back to 2023, with The Killing Votealongside Park Sung-woong, Im Ji-yeon and Kim Yoo-mi.
Since his debut in 2006, the actor has made a name for himself thanks to landmark series such as Cheese in the Trap, Bad Guys and My Love from the Star.
