As its broadcast approaches, the drama « In Your Radiant Season »continues to enrich its universe by highlighting its secondary characters. This time, they are Oh Ye-ju and Kim Tae-young that draw attention with new images revealing a heartfelt teenage romance.
The drama tells the story of Sunwoo Chan, a man who lives each day as an endless summer, and Song Ha-ran, a woman locked in an emotional winter. Around them gravitates a gallery of characters whose trajectories enrich the story, starting with that of the family's youngest daughter.
Pure first love at the heart of the story
Oh Ye-ju plays Song Ha-dam, the youngest of the 3 sisters. A brilliant student, always top of her class, she seems to lead a perfectly controlled life. Loved and protected by her sisters, she is perceived as the ideal younger sister, reliable and discreet. However, a simple remark is enough to trigger a series of unexpected events, upsetting the balance of the family and revealing a more fragile side of her character.
Opposite her, Kim Tae-young lends his features to Cha Yoo-kyum, Ha-dam's boyfriend and star high school baseball pitcher. A true national hope, already spotted by Major League scouts, Yoo-kyum impresses as much with his talent as with his strong mental outlook. Hard-working, positive and deeply sincere, he devotes himself entirely to two things: baseball and Ha-dam.
The images unveiled show the couple in school uniforms and sportswear, exchanging glances and natural smiles. This youthful romance, made up of awkwardness, dreams and spontaneous impulses, brings a warm breath to the main story.
The production team stresses that Song Ha-dam and Cha Yoo-kyum represent «the purest and most honest emotions of the drama», adding that their relationship should infuse the story with energy and sweetness. Despite their young careers, Oh Ye-ju and Kim Tae-young deliver a surprisingly mature performance, promising a touching and believable chemistry.
In Your Radiant Season will be broadcast from February 20 on MBC and on Disney+ (but not in France)
