SBS continues to ramp up « No Tail to Tell »with a new teaser unveiled at the beginning of the year. This fantasy romance drama stars Kim Hye-yoon and Lomon in a story where divine punishment, sudden loss, and survival intertwine, heralding a relationship as conflicted as it is inevitable.
A punished gumiho… a fallen prodigy
The teaser opens with the anger of’Eun Ho, a Generation Z gumiho who is convinced she has done nothing wrong.
«What have I done that's so bad?» she exclaims, before the sentence is handed down: for interfering with the destiny of a human, she is condemned to become... human.
At the same time, Kang Si-yeol, a global soccer star, sees his life fall apart. He who once reigned at the top suddenly finds himself thrust to the bottom. While Eun Ho loses his powers, Si-yeol loses his status, and each becomes a symbol of incomprehensible downfall for the other. Their first reaction is confrontation, fueled by mutual hostility and unfiltered recriminations.
But a sentence appears on the screen and changes everything: «A punishment was inflicted on a reckless gumiho, accompanied by love.»
From rivalry to alliance
A mysterious voice reminds Eun Ho of the gravity of his actions: «Did you really think that interfering with human destiny was insignificant?» Realizing that the situation is more serious than she imagined, Eun Ho decides to put her pride aside.
Little by little, hostility gives way to a fragile alliance. Eun Ho and Si-yeol realize that their only chance of survival lies in forced cooperation. «I think I finally know what we have to do,» she confides in voiceover, as a mysterious fox orb, charged with supernatural energy, appears.
The teaser concludes with a promise of organized chaos: «Hang on. Starting tomorrow, we're going to be extremely busy.» Si-yeol's intrigued gaze hints at a rapidly changing dynamic, where yesterday's enemies could well become partners... or even more.
Between a dizzying fall, redemption, and romance born of adversity, No Tail to Tell sets the stage for a story where saving others becomes the only way to save oneself.
No Tail to Tell will be broadcast starting January 16, 2026 on SBS and Netflix.
