SBS's new drama, "ย No Tail To Tell" finally unveils its very first script reading session, after its release, originally scheduled for 2025, was postponed. This fantasy romance features a Generation Z gumiho, resistant to the idea of becoming human, and a narcissistic human with whom she forms a duo as chaotic as they are endearing.

Around the table were the director Kim Jung-kwonthe scriptwriters Park Chan-young and Jo Ah-youngand a large part of the cast: Kim Hye-yoon, Lomon, Lee Si-woo, Jang Dong-joo, Choi Seung-yoon, In Gyo-jin, Lee Seung-joon and Hong Soo-hyun.
A rich cast for an energetic romantic fantasy
Kim Hye-yoon plays Eun HoShe's a quirky, chic and adorable gumiho who adamantly refuses to become human. In this role, she presents an unexpectedly modern take on the myth of the nine-tailed fox. Opposite her, Lomon slips into the role of Kang Si-yeolHe's a superstar of world soccer, confident but never lazy, and brings a lively chemistry to the first readings.

Lee Si-woo plays Geum Homysteriously linked to Eun Ho, while Jang Dong-joo plays Hyun Woo-seoka footballer whose life is diametrically opposed to that of Kang Si-yeol. Choi Seung-yoon completes the picture with Lee YoonHeir to the powerful Geumsoo family and Eun Ho's VIP client, who represents the tension in the story.
The drama also welcomes In Gyo-jin in the role of Park Yong-gilformer national coach turned manager of a fourth-division civic team, and Lee Seung-joon, who plays Hyun San-cheolfather of Hyun Woo-seok. Hong Soo-hyun makes a notable appearance in Hong Yeon-sooKang Si-yeol's partner of nine years and the player's self-proclaimed agent.

Members of the Daeheung Citizen Team are also featured: Yoo Hwan (Seo Beom), Kim Tae-jung (Hwang Chi-soo), Ji Seung-joon (Bae Jung-bae) and Kim Tae-hee (Kim Kyung-hoon).
Production promises "a unique universe offering a new form of pleasure, driven by the chemistry between Kim Hye-yoon and Lomon, which should be worth the long wait."
No Tail To Tell will be broadcast from January 16, 2026 at 9:50 p.m. (KST) on SBS (awaiting an international broadcaster).
