tvN has unveiled the first posters for its new romantic comedy Nice To Not Meet Youa powerful duo: Lee Jung-jae and Lim Ji-yeon.
Between love, rivalry and media satire
This drama will feature an explosive love-hate relationship between 2 characters whom everything opposes: an A-list actor who has lost his roots and a political journalist, renowned for her obsession with justice, but suddenly demoted to the entertainment column.
Lee Jung-jae plays Im Hyun-joon, a star adored thanks to the hit series Good Detective Kang Pil-gu. Charismatic, he nevertheless dreams of breaking away from his repetitive detective image to finally take on romantic roles. In his poster, he appears on the fictional cover of 2025 Man of the Year magazine, smiling and confident, accompanied by a revealing phrase: "Give me a different role at last... something other than a detective."
Facing him, Lim Ji-yeon slips into Wi Jung-shin's shoes, a brilliant journalist and the youngest winner of a prestigious press award. But her career takes a sharp turn after a corruption scandal forces her to leave the political service. Here she is, parachuted into the world of entertainment, where her seriousness and bite promise situations as funny as they are piquant. Her poster shows her concentrated, writing with one hand while holding a phone call with the other, ready to fight to remain an "ace", even in unexpected terrain.
Explosive chemistry ahead
The production team has teased an unpredictable relationship, between professional confrontations and romantic sparks, promising electrifying chemistry between the two actors.
