After impressing the world with Squid Game, Lee Jung-jae returns to the small screen in an unexpected role. This time, he co-stars with Lim Ji-yeon in tvN's new drama Nice to Not Meet Youscheduled for release in November 2025. The first official posters have just been unveiled, further arousing the curiosity of viewers.

Between humor, scandal and unexpected romance

The series features Im Hyun-jun (played by Lee Jung-jae), a national actor famous for his many roles as detective Kang Pil-gu in a successful police saga. While this role brought him immense notoriety, his character now seems to be a burden that he is trying to escape. In the visuals released today, we discover him both in the skin of the fearsome Pil-gu, handcuffs in hand and piercing gaze, but also hiding his identity behind sunglasses, repeating: "I'm not Kang Pil-gu. I don't know him."

Facing him, Lim Ji-yeon plays Wie Jung-shin, a journalist who once excelled in the political sphere but was demoted to the entertainment column after a scandal. Her determination, sense of justice and sharp eye lead her into a tense confrontation with the star she's tracking.

Around them gravitate 2 key characters: Lee Jae-hyung (Kim Ji-hoon), a former baseball player turned newspaper executive, and Yoon Hwa-young (Seo Ji-hye), a feared newsroom chief as charismatic as she is implacable.
