tvN's next kdrama, "Love, take two", unveils poster and trailer

Next funny and romantic kdrama from tvN, Love take twoairing from August 4, 2025, has just unveiled its poster and first video trailer. The 12-episode series tells the story of a mother and daughter whose lives are turned upside down when the latter begins to distance herself from her mother.

The synopsis

Lee Ji-an (played by Yum Jung-ah) is an unwed mother. who has always moved forward with determination and pride. With her outspoken, tenacious character, she has never relied on luck or gifts from the heavens: she faces every obstacle head-on. She manages a construction site, where she makes sure that everything runs as she sees fit. Her greatest joy is her daughter Lee Hyo-ri (Choi Yoon-ji), a brilliant medical student of whom she is extremely proud.

But Ji-An's well-ordered life is turned upside down when the usually studious Hyo-Ri starts to distance herself and challenge his authority. As if that weren't enough, Ji-An crosses paths with his very first love, Ryu Jeong-seok (Park Hae-joon).

On his side, Ryu Jeong-Seok leads a peaceful existence alongside his only son, Ryu Bo-Hyeon (Kim Min-kyu). Also a single father, he thought he'd found a balance until Ji-An and her daughter once again invaded his daily life, turning his well-ordered world upside down.

As for Bo-Hyeon, a passionate young man who's been sure of his vocation since childhood, he's been running his own flower farm for the past six years. An expert in his field, he finds himself troubled for the first time when Hyo-Ri comes into his life. She installs her camper van right in front of Bo-Hyeon's house, sowing the seeds of novelty in the young farmer's well-ordered daily routine.

A sweet and funny kdrama to follow, directed by Yoo Je-won (previously known for Love next door and Hometown Cha-cha-cha) who also reunites in secondary roles actors well known from Korean series: Kang Ae-shim (seen in Squid game recently), Jung young-joo (Salon de holmes), Yang Kyung-won (Vincenzo, Crash landing on you), Kim Sun-young (Our unwritten Seoul) and many others.
