SBS has confirmed that Namgoong Min will make a special appearance in the drama Dynamite Kisscurrently airing. The actor reprises his cult role of Cheon Ji-hoonthe lawyer in One Dollar Lawyer, in homage to director Kim Jae-hyun, with whom he had already collaborated on the hit series.
Dynamite Kiss tells the story of the chaotic romance between a single woman forced to pass herself off as a married mother in order to land a job, and her superior who falls in love with her without understanding the secrets she's hiding. The series is written by the writers of "Twin Tops Bar" and "From Now On, Showtime!", reuniting for a new romantic comedy.
A cameo under the sign of loyalty
According to the production team, Namgoong Min accepted the invitation "without hesitation", out of loyalty to the director with whom he has enjoyed immense success: One Dollar Lawyer had reached an audience rating of 15.2 %, becoming one of the most popular dramas of the year.
Seeing Cheon Ji-hoon again in a new context arouses great curiosity: will he remain the same zany, unpredictable lawyer, or will he reveal a new facet in this romance with a completely different tone?
A reunion with Ahn Eun-jin
This cameo also marks an anticipated reunion between Namgoong Min and Ahn Eun-jinheroine of Dynamite Kiss. The two actors shared a much-appreciated romance in the drama My Dearest, which should offer fans a moment as surprising as it is delightful.
