Just a few days before its broadcast, My Lovely Journey, Channel A's new drama, is already starting to make waves. Adapted from a best-selling Japanese novel by Maha Harada, the story promises a moving exploration of human connection, dreams and resilience. And at the center of this adventure is a captivating duo: Gong Seung-yeon and Yoo Joon-sang.
The story
In My Lovely JourneyGong Seung-yeon stars as Kang Yeo-reum, a former idol who is now a travel reporter. Away from the spotlight, she takes on a series of "vicarious travel" assignments for others, while embarking on an inner journey to redefine her own vision of success and happiness. Opposite her, Yoo Joon-sang plays Oh Sang-sik, a former boxer turned manager, then CEO of a small agency called Ogu Entertainment.
What's immediately striking is the relationship between their 2 characters. Yeo Reum is the agency's only artist, and Sang Sik its only pillar, both professionally and emotionally. Their bond goes far beyond that of a simple artist/manager duo: it's a relationship woven over ten years of trust, shared difficulties and silent support. A complicity so strong that a simple glance is enough to say it all.

The new images unveiled by the production perfectly illustrate this chemistry. We see Yeo Reum and Sang Sik exchanging tender smiles, supporting each other in difficult times, and sharing heart-warming moments of gentleness.
