Channel A unveils its next drama My Lovely Journey with a first teaser that promises a gentle escapade full of meaning. Based on the best-selling Japanese novel by Maha Harada (Tabiya Okaeri), the story follows an original concept: travel for others... and perhaps also a little for oneself.
At the heart of this new journey, we discover Kang Yeo-reum, played by Gong Seung-yeon. A former idol now converted to a journalist specializing in travel reports, she has never really tasted the spotlight. Yet it's precisely by taking on the role of a surrogate traveler that she gradually reinvents herself.
The teaser begins with the launch of Summer, a unique travel agency offering vicarious experiences. When an unexpected client entrusts Yeo Reum with the mission of leaving in his place, she accepts, without suspecting that this journey will change her vision of success and life.
At his side is Lee Yeon-seok (Kim Jae-young), future director, brings a touch of poetry to the adventure. Trained as an engineer but passionate about cinema, he crosses paths with Yeo Reum and accompanies her on this extraordinary odyssey. Their budding complicity, between landscape discoveries and shared confidences, promises a tender, subtle romance, punctuated by moments of joy and intimate questioning.
