Netflix unveils the first images of « Mousetrap« a dark and tense psychological thriller that promises to blur the boundaries between truth and manipulation. Starring Ryu Jun-yeol and Sul Kyung-gu, the series adapts the webtoon Field Mouse and plunges into the vertiginous fall of a man deprived of everything, right down to his own name.

A writer erased from the world... and from himself

Moon Je is a solitary novelist living on the fringes of society. Overnight, his life is turned upside down: a mysterious man, known only as «the Rat», steals his identity, his fortune and even his social existence. Stripped of all reference points, Moon Je finds himself trapped in a world where nothing belongs to him, not even his past.

Isolated, hunted down and reduced to a shadow of his former self, he soon realizes that he can't get his life back on his own. The loss of his identity becomes the starting point for a descent into a universe where every truth seems to conceal a deeper lie.

A dangerous alliance against an invisible enemy

To survive and confront the man who destroyed him, Moon Je makes a choice as risky as it is unexpected: to ally himself with No Ja, a ruthless loan shark who once pursued him for money. Played by Sul Kyung-gu, No Ja is a brutal man governed by a single law: that of money, whatever the price.
