Emotion and magic in new images from the upcoming historical fantasy drama Moon Riverstarring Kang Tae-oh and Kim Se-jeong. These first shots reveal a disturbing and poetic encounter between Crown Prince Yi Kang and merchant Park Dal-yi.
A meeting between past and present
In Moon River, Kang Tae-oh plays Yi Kang, a proud and disillusioned prince, marked by the tragic loss of his wife during a power struggle at court. Since then, he has led a meaningless life, surrounded by luxury but devoid of joy. But then Park Dal-yi appears, a resourceful, talkative and energetic young shopkeeper... who has the unmistakable trait of resembling the late princess consort.

Kim Se-jeong lends her features to this lively, courageous heroine with a typical Chungcheong accent and an innate talent for business. Everything pits Yi Kang and Dal-yi against each other - their social standing, their temperament, their worldview - but a mysterious event is about to change their destinies: their souls are exchanged, forcing them to live each other's lives.

A love that defies time and memory
The newly-revealed photos illustrate the evolution of their relationship: from the astonishment of their first meeting on the market, to the first contact imbued with nostalgia and tenderness. One of the most striking images shows Yi Kang hugging Dal-yi, eyes closed, as if reliving a lost love memory. Another captures the gentle, fragile tension of their gazes under the snow, the promise of a deep bond that transcends time and pain.

Scheduled for release on October 31 at 9:50pm (KST), Moon River promises to be a spellbinding romantic fresco, blending drama, destiny and timeless emotions. A must-see for fans of fantastic sageuk. As a reminder, it will be available on Viki in France under the name "La rivière sous la lune".
