MBC has officially confirmed the main cast of The First Mana new daily drama that promises to mix revenge, love and family secrets.
A story of revenge and intertwined destinies
The First Man recounts the struggle between 2 women whose lives become tragically intertwined: one takes the place of another for revenge, while the other steals a life that doesn't belong to her to satisfy her ambitions.
Hahm Eun-jung, former member of the T-ARA group, will play a dual role: that of Oh Jang-mi, a woman of integrity dreaming of opening her own restaurant, and that of Ma Se-rin, a capricious heiress and only granddaughter of the president of the Dream group. These twin sisters, separated by a cruel twist of fate, will see their paths cross again through 2 brothers: Kang Baek-ho (Yoon Sun-woo)a benevolent lawyer, and Kang Jun-ho (Park Gun-il)a chef as cool as he is passionate about his craft.
Characters driven by ambition and sentiment
Oh Hyun-kyung will play the role of Chae Hwa-young, a graceful former star who'll do anything to take control of the Dream Group. Behind her elegance lies a determined woman, ready to sacrifice everything to achieve her goals.
Yoon Sun-woo lends his features to a fair and caring lawyer, while Park Gun-il plays his brother, an aloof man whose shell begins to crack when he comes into contact with Oh Jang-mi. Last but not least, Kim Min-seol will play Jin Hong-joo, an ambitious Dream Hotel employee who is jealous of Jang-mi and will do anything to get what she wants.
Planned as the successor to The Woman Who Swallowed the Sun, The First Man promises to be an emotionally rich melodrama, where love, betrayal and revenge mingle in a whirlwind of passions.
