Disney+ continues to build tension around its upcoming historical thriller " Made in Korea "with new images as stylized as they are brutal. With Hyun Bin and Jung Woo-sung headlining, the series promises an intense descent into the 1970s, an era marked by violence, ambition and a fierce struggle for power.

1970s: when ambition forges monsters

Set in South Korea in the 1970s, Made in Korea follows Baek Ki-tae (Hyun Bin), a man desperate for wealth and influence, and Jang Geon-young (Jung Woo-sung), a prosecutor determined to stop him, even if it means sacrificing his own safety. The series explores how chaotic times can produce extreme figures, shaped by the harshness of the world around them.

The poster entitled "War of Blood immediately sets the scene: a Korea in the throes of transformation, where progress and disorder advance side by side. We see characters frozen in intense cinematic moments, consumed by their desires and obsessions. The striking text reads: "A world changed by the powerful, a war of blood.

A dark, tense and beautifully shot teaser

The trailer opens with a chilling statement from Baek Ki-tae: "I think it's the powerful who change the world. From now on, I'm going to change the world."

This is followed by a nervous sequence: Ki-tae negotiating with Ikeda Yuji (Won Ji-an), then Jang Geon-young and Oh Ye-jin (Seo Eun-soo) getting dangerously close to him.
The all-consuming ambition of Hyun Bin's character shines through on screen: a man ready to rise to the heights of power, even if it means becoming a real tyrant.

The drama already stands out for its multiple shooting locations (Busan, Japan, Thailand) and for its nerve-racking action scenes that reflect the characters' extreme emotions. The final line of the teaser seals the confrontation between the two opposing forces: "You know what sets you and me apart? I have the power to take responsibility for the choices I've made." Opposite him, Jang Geon-young represents righteousness... but for how much longer?

Hyun Bin plays a dark, charismatic and morally ambiguous role, a field in which he excels. Fans are already waiting to see how far he'll take this transformation.

Made in Korea will be 6 episodes broadcast on Disney+: 2 episodes on December 24, 2 episodes on December 31, 1 episode on January 7, 1 episode on January 14.
