Disney+ has unveiled a new series of images from its drama " Made in Korea" a political thriller set in the 1970s, a period of tension and upheaval for South Korea. At the heart of the plot: Baek Ki-tae, played by Hyun Bina man willing to do anything to achieve wealth and influence, and prosecutor Jang Geon-young, played by Jung Woo-sungready to sacrifice his career and personal life to stop him.

These new photos lift the veil on a world where every glance can betray an alliance, a threat or a betrayal. Among the faces that gravitate around Ki-tae, the most intriguing is undoubtedly Baek Ki-hyunhis younger brother, played by Woo Do-hwanwhose role was also presented in a series of separate shots.
Power that attracts... and destroys
The new visuals show Baek Ki-tae hiding his gaze in the crowd, suit impeccable, posture tense. Desire, ambition and calculation seem to mingle within him, revealing the maneuvers he is planning in the shadows. At the other end of the spectrum, Jang Geon-young appears concentrated, listening in on a criminal organization. His determined eyes show that he has nothing left to lose, except the truth.

One of the most striking moments presented in these images is the direct confrontation between the two men: on one side burning desire, on the other inflexible obstinacy. Their face-off promises an intense psychological duel, in which neither is ready to give in.

Around them gravitate characters with personal ambitions: presidential security chief Cheon Seok-joong (Jung Sung-il), influential members of the NIS like Hwang Gook-pyung (Park Yong-woo), and figures from Japan's criminal underworld like Ikeda Yuji (Won Ji-an). All seem drawn to power like a magnet... at the risk of being consumed by it.

Woo Do-hwan, an elite officer torn between loyalty and truth
Baek Ki-hyun, played by Woo Do-hwan, occupies a central position in this vast political chessboard. For his first modern historical drama, the actor lends his features to an irreproachable officer, an excellent graduate of the Korean Military Academy and a member of the Defense Security Command. Presented as an upright, disciplined and respected man, Ki-hyun nevertheless hides an inner conflict fueled by a love-hate relationship with his older brother Baek Ki-tae.

The new stills illustrate this duality perfectly: on one side, a young man with a slight smile in an elegant suit, symbolizing a neat, formal era; on the other, an officer whose hard gaze and clenched jaw reveal his inner fractures. His evolution will be one of the drama's most captivating elements: will he follow his conscience... or his blood?

Alongside them, strong characters such as Bae Geum-ji (Cho Yeo-jeong), an influential madam with destabilizing charm, and Oh Ye-jin (Seo Eun-soo), a determined investigator, enrich a complex web of alliances, lies and rivalries.

Made in Korea will start with 2 episodes on December 24then 2 others on December 31. Subsequent episodes will be released progressively.
