As JTBC prepares to unveil its new drama Love Methe Korean channel lifts the veil a little more on this mature romance starring Yoo Jae-myung and Yoon Se-ah. Inspired by a Swedish series created by Josephine Bornebusch, this adaptation follows a family that is at once imperfect and terribly close to reality, where everyone begins a path of reconstruction and new feelings. At the heart of the story are two wounded characters who learn to comfort each other after long-suppressed trials.

An unexpected encounter turns 2 lives upside down

Yoo Jae-myung plays Seo Jin-ho, head of a neighborhood office with a reassuring smile but a daily routine so heavy that it has gradually robbed him of his breath. After a period of voluntary retirement, he decides to mark a new beginning by taking an expensive trip, convinced that he must finally think of himself. But just when he thinks he can breathe again, life confronts him with his darkest hour.

It was on this journey that he came across Jin Ja-young, played by Yoon Se-ah. A bubbly, open and romantic tour guide, she possesses that rare ability to understand others without needing to speak. Her human warmth glides gently into Jin-ho's daily life, awakening emotions he thought he'd buried long ago.

A duo that promises deep chemistry

The new images show the 2 characters sharing their very first meal, sitting face to face. Between them floats that shyness typical of unexpected encounters, but also a promising quiver that suggests the evolution of their bond. Their relationship, born far from home, could well be the turning point each of them has been waiting for, without admitting it.

Their reunion is particularly intriguing for fans: Yoo Jae-myung and Yoon Se-ah had already made their mark with their tragic story in the drama Stranger. This time, the two actors move towards a brighter romance, made up of comfort, shared truths and wounds that gradually close.

The production team emphasizes the precision of their acting together, saying that "the temperature of a scene changes with a simple glance exchanged". In their view, their performances will touch viewers with a rare sincerity.

Love Me will make its debut on December 19 on jTBC (awaiting an international broadcaster), with 2 episodes broadcast each week. A sweet, heartwarming romance that could become one of the most moving dramas of the end of the year.
