That's the surprising and refreshing starting point of the next original drama from TVING, "Lotto 1st Place Winner Goes to Work Too" (로또1등도 출근합니다). Adapted from a successful webtoon, this series plunges us into the life of an ordinary salaryman suddenly propelled to an unexpected fortune, but not enough to change his life completely.
Lee Jun-hyuk (seen recently in Mercy for None) plays Gong Eun-taea discreet and conscientious team leader in sales department 5 at Hongsung International. After a lifetime of avoiding the waves and living a "normal" life, he finally hits the jackpot: 1.3 billion won (around $950,000 / €815,000). Enough to take a breather... but not to run away from the office. Instead of resigning, Gong Eun-tae chose to return to work, with a fresh outlook on his professional life and his colleagues.
