The 4th edition of the Blue Dragon Series Awards was held on July 18 at Incheon's Paradise City Hotel, a ceremony once again hosted by the iconic duo Jun Hyun-moo and YoonAThey have been faithful to this role since the event's inception.
When life gives you tangerines, winner of the 2025 edition
The evening was marked by the triumph of the series "When Life Gives You Tangerinesbroadcast on Netflix, which won the Grand Prix (Daesang). The actor Park Bo-gumThe very emotional director thanked the team that had supported him throughout the four seasons, paying tribute to the young actors and to Park Hae-joonhis elder brother on screen.
The series also enabled IU to win the award for Best Actressa first in her career. She hailed the work as "the most significant" of her life, and dedicated her award to the characters Aesoon and Geummyeong, bearers of dreams and resilience.
Yeom Hye-ranalso starring in "When Life Gives You Tangerines", received an award for her work. Best Supporting Actress. Visibly touched, she described the role as a real turning point in her career.
The Trauma Code does not disappoint
Another big winner of the evening was the medical drama "The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call (Netflix), which was awarded the Best Drama Award. The director Lee Do-yoon underlined the essential role of Ju Ji-hoonwho played the main hero with strength and nuance. The latter was rightly crowned Best Actor.
Visit Best New Actor has returned to Choo Young-woofor his role as a doctor in "The Trauma Code", while Kim Min-ha won the Best Actress Revelation for "Way Back Love".
Male supporting roles, Lee Kwang-soo distinguished himself for his performance in "Karmawinning the Best Supporting Actor with a humorous intervention on stage: "D.O. told me he'd dreamt I was dying of an infection after a hair transplant. He insulted me, but said it was a lucky dream. Thank you, D.O.".
In the entertainment category, Netflix's cooking show "Culinary Class Wars who was elected Best Variety Program. A Season 2 has been announced.
Visit award for Best Animator was awarded to Lee Soo-ji for SNL Koreaand the Best Animator à Kian84for his show "Kian's Bizarre B&Bwhich has been hailed for its originality.
Visit Entertainment Revelation Award were awarded to Mimi for "Kian is CEO" (Best Actress) and Moon Sang-hoon for "The Blank Menu for You" (male revelation).
As for prices Popularitydetermined by fans via Upbit, were awarded to Park Bo-gum, IU, Lee Jun-hyuk and Hyeri. An unusual moment brightened the evening when Lee Jun Young went on stage by mistake, believing he had been called in to replace his namesake.
Finally, the award for best soundtrack was won by Yeonjun (TXT) for its song "Cinderella at 2 AM", while Ji Ye Eun received the LG U+ Good Influence Award for its positive impact in "Kian's Bizarre B&B".
