Lim Ji-yeon and Heo Nam-joon will headline SBS's next romantic drama, Brave New World (working title)! This romantic comedy tells the story of the passionate and conflicted relationship between Shin Seo Ria mischievous woman from the Joseon dynasty, and Cha Se Gyea ruthless chaebol of modern times.
Lim Ji-yeon will play a dual role: that of a unknown actress, Shin Seo-ripossessed by the spirit of Kang Dan-shimone of Joseon's most famous villains. Sentenced to death by poisoning, Kang Dan-shim wakes up in 2026 in the body of Shin Seo-ri.
Heo Nam-joon will play Cha Se-gyesole heir to the powerful Cha Il groupknown for his brutal, arrogant temperament. His encounter with Shin Seo Ri, dressed as a Joseon-era shaman, turns his daily life upside down.
Brave New World is planned for 2026.
