A story of survival as funny as it is gritty

Let's Go to the Moon follows the journey of 3 women on modest incomes, who, faced with a suffocating economic reality, decide to bet everything on crypto investing. Between dreams of financial escape, office woes and moral dilemmas, this comedy-drama promises to be a gritty mirror of our times, somewhere between social satire and raw emotion.

The original work, which won over many readers, is adapted here, with endearing characters, a touch of dark humor and infectious energy.

An explosive trio: Lee Sun-bin, Ra Mi-ran and Jo Ah-ram

Upon reading the script, the chemistry between the three lead actresses was immediately obvious.

  • Lee Sun-bin camp Jung Da-haeA discreet woman in her thirties, born into a lacklustre and uncomfortable childhood, with a "normal", even banal, educational and professional background... but profoundly human. The actress brings a poignant accuracy to her role, making palpable the fatigue of a minimum-wage life, but also the fragile hope that remains.
  • Ra Mi-rantrue to his reputation, embodies Kang Eun-sanga seemingly model employee obsessed with making money. With her razor-sharp sense of humor and ability to play between lightness and seriousness, she promises a delightful performance.
  • Jo Ah Rambrings to life Kim Ji-songa young MZ who lives by the YOLO principle. Eccentric, naive and full of energy, she embodies the audacity and casualness of a disillusioned but resourceful generation.

Their trio, nicknamed the "Mu-nan-i" (a pun on "ordinary"), is anything but banal. Far from clichés, they form an unlikely alliance, full of tenderness, humor and complicity.

Kim Young-dae in elegant contrast

At their side, Kim Young-dae provides an interesting counterpoint as Ham Ji-wooThe ambitious, elegant executive is the complete opposite of the 3 heroines. From a wealthy background, he seems to have stepped straight out of a classic drama where heirs shine. Motivated not by money but by ideals, he will nevertheless cross paths with the "Mu-nan-i" and turn their lives upside down.

An equally promising secondary cast

The drama also brings together a cast of seasoned actors and rising talents: Kim Mi-kyung, Eum Moon-suk, Hong Seung-hee, Ahn Dong-gu, Oh Seung-ah or even Seo Ji-sooall come together to recreate the world of "Maron Confectionery", where the 3 heroines work. The atmosphere, both realistic and absurd, brings to life a professional microcosm that will speak to many viewers.

The production promises a series "full of humanity, humor and deeply rooted in everyday life". The tone will oscillate between social satire, chronicle of modern precariousness and feel-good drama. It's sure to appeal to a wide audience, and perhaps even make us reflect on our relationship with money, work and the dreams we sacrifice as we grow up.
