It's an announcement that won't go unnoticed. Lee Young-ae and Yoo Ji-tae will reunite on screen for the first time in 25 years in a new drama entitled “Jae Yi's Young In”.

The project, described as a romance mixed with mystery, will tell the story of two people scarred by deep wounds who will learn to move forward together, as buried truths resurface.

A long-awaited reunion

The 2 actors had already appeared together in 2001 in the film “One Fine Spring Day”, where their chemistry made a lasting impression. Their return together in a drama has already raised expectations.

Lee Young-ae stars as Joo Young-in, an art teacher and painter living with the pain of losing her son. She tries to keep going by creating frescoes, spending her sleepless nights painting to survive her grief.

Opposite her, Yoo Ji-tae plays Shin Jae-yi, director of an architecture firm. Behind his bright appearance and free-spirited temperament lies a deep flaw linked to dissociative amnesia, which plunges him into great confusion as the truth resurfaces.

A romance of secrets and wounds

As they meet, the two characters grow closer, finding an echo in each other's pain. But their love story is far from simple: ties from the past and long-buried secrets gradually disrupt their relationship.

The drama promises an emotional narrative, driven by complex characters and an unpredictable plot.

Indeed, the production team emphasized this ambition: «Through delicate emotional storytelling and an unpredictable plot, we aim to deliver a mystery romance drama that is both unique and sophisticated.»
