KBS 2TV has lifted the veil on a new poster of his next drama Walking on Thin Icescheduled for September 20. This new series promises to be intense, combining suspense, human drama and a dose of thriller.
A drug association
The story follows Kang Eun-soo (played by Lee Young-ae), a once ordinary mother whose life is turned upside down when her husband's illness plunges her family into financial distress. Just as she's hitting rock bottom, she stumbles across a bag full of drugs. This twist of fate led to her unwilling association with Lee Kyung (Kim Young-kwang), an art teacher whose nocturnal activities are far less open.
On the freshly unveiled poster, the 2 characters face each other around a table cluttered with bundles of bills, a bill counter and an old Boston bag.. If their hands seem ready to collaborate, their eyes betray distrust and greed. Lee Kyung reaches for the bag, while Eun Soo watches intently, as if waiting for the perfect moment to take advantage.

The production describes this visual as " a symbolic scene which perfectly sums up the complex relationship between the 2 protagonists". This fragile alliance lies, they say, "somewhere between hope and destruction".
