MBC has unveiled the first images of « In Your Radiant Season« offering a long-awaited glimpse of Lee Sung-kyung as his character. The romantic drama explores the encounter between Sunwoo Chan (Chae Jong-hyeop), a man who lives each day as a bright summer, and Song Ha-ran, a woman trapped in an emotional winter of her own making.
Lee Sung-kyung plays Song Ha-ran, artistic director of Nana Atelier, South Korea's most prestigious high-end fashion house. Brilliant, elegant and a perfectionist, Ha-ran seems to lead an irreproachable life. Yet behind this controlled image lies a woman deeply scarred by the loss of her loved ones, who has erected an emotional wall to ensure she never suffers again.
A duality between perfection and solitude
In the recently published photos, Lee Sung-kyung expresses Song Ha-ran's complex inner world with finesse. Her luxurious styling, confident gaze and upright posture embody the cool rigor of a designer at the peak of her career. But behind this apparent control lies the loneliness and pain she carefully conceals behind a controlled smile.
