A new Kdrama couple is preparing to set the small screen on fire. On September 25, the production team of MBC's upcoming Friday-Saturday drama, In Your Radiant Season (provisional title), confirmed the participation of Lee Sung-kyung and Chae Jong-hyeop.
The story tells of the meeting of Sunwoo Chan, a man who lives every day like a summer vacation, and from Song Ha-ran, a woman closed in on herself, trapped in an inner winter since the loss of her loved ones. Their chance encounter turns their lives upside down, revealing wounds, secrets and possibilities for rebirth.
Lee Sung-kyung will play the role of Song Ha-ran, artistic director at Nana Atelier, a prestigious haute couture house. Behind her impeccable, perfect image, she hides an icy loneliness, until Chan's arrival cracks her armor. As for Chae Jong-hyeop, he brings to life Sunwoo Chan, a character designer at a world-renowned animation studio. Outwardly sunny and enthusiastic, he is nevertheless deeply scarred by a mysterious accident. His bond with Ha Ran will force him to confront unsuspected truths.
The production is entrusted to Jung Sang-heealready at work on Fanletter, Please, while the screenplay is by Jo Sung-hee, known for 30 but 17 (Still 17) and She Was Pretty.
The production team commented: "Lee Sung-kyung and Chae Jong-hyeop are the ideal actors to bring these characters and their stories to life. Viewers will be able to wonder if these two beings, confronted with their past secrets, will become the spring capable of melting each other's winter."
First broadcast scheduled for the first half of 2026.
