The end of 2025 could well mark the return of Lee Se-young in a role that already promises to seduce fans of fantasy-tinged romances. According to several Korean media, the actress has been offered the female lead in Long Vacationa project currently in preparation.
Romance by the sea
"Long Vacation" will tell the singular story of Demon No. 3375, sent on holiday to a peaceful coastal village in southern Korea. His stay, intended as a simple reward, takes an unexpected turn when he crosses paths with a young human woman. Through this encounter, he discovers the sweetness of human emotions, but at the same time faces an existential crisis: whether to remain faithful to his demonic nature or surrender to love.
If discussions are successful, Lee Se-young will play the role of a hotel employee, the key character in this romance. On the male side, Choo Young-woo is expected to play the demon in search of meaning.
A prestigious duo behind the camera
This project is attracting all the more attention because it brings together 2 of the biggest names in Korean television. It will be directed by Lee Jung-hyoknown for directing international hits such as Crash Landing on You and Doona! The screenplay is by Jung Hyun-jungthe writer behind the I Need Romance, Lovestruck in the City and Our Blooming Youth series.
Finally, according to initial reports, discussions are underway for the drama to join Netflix's catalog, which would enable worldwide distribution and reinforce its potential international success.
