The chain JTBC has unveiled a new teaser for its upcoming romantic drama « The Practical Guide to Love« a love triangle as seductive as it is tense.
The series follows Lee Ui-yeong, played by Han Ji-min, This is the story of a woman who decides to take her love life in hand by entering the sometimes confusing world of blind dates. Along the way, she meets 2 men with radically opposed charms, confronting her with a sentimental dilemma that forces her to redefine what true love means to her.
A kiss, a question... and a declared rivalry
The teaser opens with a striking scene between Lee Ui-yeong and Song Tae-seop (Park Sung-hoon), inside a church. The atmosphere shifts when he says, with aplomb: «Yesterday... we kissed, didn't we?» A sentence that surprises both the heroine and Shin Ji-su (Lee Ki-taek), who can't help but ask incredulously, «Is it true? Did you kiss?»
Visibly unsettled, Lee Ui-yeong struggles to hide her unease. From then on, the rivalry between the two men becomes impossible to ignore, as each seeks to assert his place in the young woman's heart.
Two styles, two approaches, one choice
Song Tae-seop, billed as «candidate number 1», stands out for his attentiveness and gentleness. He doesn't hesitate to go to Lee Ui-yeong's workplace to see her off, and fully assumes his feelings with a revealing phrase: «When it comes to something I love, I don't think about efficiency.»
Opposite him, Shin Ji-su, younger and bolder, imposes an equally striking presence. Appearing unannounced, naturally calling him by his first name and advancing without detour, he confidently asserts: «I'll make it a lot more fun than he will.» It's a direct statement that shakes Lee Ui-yeong to the core... and also presents viewers with a difficult choice between two suitors with very different charms.
With this fast-paced teaser full of romantic tension, “The Practical Guide to Love” promises a sincere, modern exploration of hesitations in love.
