As its broadcast approaches, « Spring Fever »continues to reveal its world with a new series of photos highlighting the teaching staff at Shinsu High School. This romantic comedy, starring Lee Joo-bin and Ahn Bo-hyun, promises to be a heartwarming tale in which personal stories intertwine between classrooms, a peaceful village, and buried emotions.
Yoon Bom, a professor as brilliant as she is mysterious
At the heart of the story is Yoon Bom (Lee Joo-bin), a high school teacher with a past as bright as it is painful. Once adored for her natural charisma and regularly ranked among the most popular teachers, she saw her career take a turn following an unexpected incident.
Now living in Shinsu Village, Yoon Bom has chosen a quiet, almost distant life. Cold in appearance and not very expressive, she intrigues both her colleagues and the villagers. This enigmatic aura makes her a unique figure at the high school, leaving a mystery as to what drove her to cut herself off emotionally from the world.
Between late romances and everyday comedy
A colorful cast of teachers revolves around her. Seo Hye-suk (Jin Kyung), a Korean language teacher and owner of the house where Yoon Bom lives, is a single mother raising twins on her own. Known for being the school's biggest busybody, she never misses an opportunity to get involved in other people's lives.

Facing her, Jung Jin-hyuk (Bae Jung-nam), a physical education teacher and former local idol in Shinsu, continues to see himself as the school's charm asset. A middle-aged bachelor, he devotes most of his time to caring for his sick mother. An unexpected activity (learning jiu-jitsu with their colleagues) gradually brings Hye-suk and Jin-hyuk closer together, giving rise to a late-blooming romance marked by tenderness.

The rest of the teaching staff adds a touch of deliberate comedy. Seok Gwan-soo (Kim Byung-choon), the principal, struggles to assert any authority and seems constantly overwhelmed by the vagaries of life. Hong Jung-pyo (Oh Man-seok), the vice principal in charge of academic affairs, seems more concerned with side income than his job, while maintaining a strangely pathetic side. Finally, Wi Jung-hwan (Jung Young-ki), a professor of Korean history, acts as a mediator and has already established himself as a key figure, often tasked with defusing tensions... or stealing the show.

With this gallery of characters, Spring Fever promises a balance between romance, humor, and humanity, where each teacher carries their own wounds, hopes, and desires.
Spring Fever will air starting January 5 at 8:50 p.m. (KST) on tvN and on Prime Video.
