A new corporate romantic drama is starting to attract attention, with casting still under discussion. Lee Jong-won could indeed join “Disciplined Romance”(working title), a project that already brings together several popular names.
On April 2, Xportsnews reported that the actor had been approached to appear in the series. His agency cautiously confirmed the information: “He is currently in discussions.”
The drama is already attracting interest with its original concept and potential lead actors.

A romance between military past and corporate world
“Disciplined Romance” is a drama centered on a relationship that evolves through time and status. The story follows a man and a woman who were once superior and subordinate in the army.
Years later, their roles are reversed when they meet again at a company: she becomes a new employee, while he occupies the CEO position. This dynamic promises a romance combining tension, hierarchy and personal evolution.
Park Hyung-sik and Park Gyu-young had already been announced in discussions for the lead roles, although their participation has not yet been officially confirmed.
Lee Jong-won in the running for a key role
Lee Jong-won has been offered the role of Joo Han-min, strategic director at the company run by Park Hyung-sik's character.
Described as an American citizen and the only employee without military service, his character should bring a special dynamic to the story. In particular, the drama could play on a “cat-and-mouse” relationship between him and the CEO, promising lively and entertaining exchanges.
Meanwhile, Lee Jong-won is gearing up for the release of his next film, “Salmokji: Whispering Water”, scheduled for April 8.
