On the eve of its launch (July 5), Law and The City, the new tvN series, unveils a special trailer that sets the tone!
The series follows the daily lives of 5 associates Ahn Ju-hyeong (Lee Jong-suk), Kang Hui-ji (Moon Ga-young), Cho Chang-won (Kang You-seok), Bae Mun-jeong (Ryu Hye-young) and Ha Sang-gi (Im Seong-jae) juggle thorny cases, personal ambitions and the hectic daily routine of Seoul's Seocho legal district.
In this preview, we see Ahn Ju-hyeong spotting a passionate young lawyer in the middle of rehearsing lines for a courtroom drama, a scene which takes him back to his own beginnings.
The teaser then reveals his first years in the profession: The first year, we see him arrive wearing a simple vest, a far cry from the sharp lawyer he has become. The following year, he faced a client convinced of his innocence... until a compromising video betrayed him in court, leaving Ju Hyeong totally unarmed. His 3rd year was no sweeter: a customer, initially all smiles, ended up grabbing him by the collar after losing his case over a faulty product.
Between funny memories and moments of solitude, Law and The City shows how these ordeals forged Ju Hyeong's lucid yet cynical character.
